Iran's Declared Retaliation The Iranian Revolutionary Guard stated it was targeting American facilities and interests as part of military campaign "Truthful Promise 4", in reprisal for the attack on the Islamic Republic initiated by the United States and its ally Israel on Saturday. That preceding assault - executed at approximately 09:15 Iran time - has so far focused on locations associated with the Tehran's leadership, with President Trump urging the people of Iran to revolt against the regime. Wider Impacts In Israel, air raid sirens sounded nationwide after the Israel Defense Forces stated it had detected an incoming Iranian missile barrage. The Ministry of Defence of the UAE said in a statement that the country has been targeted by a "a blatant attack involving Iranian ballistic missiles". "UAE air defence systems dealt with the projectiles with high efficiency and successfully intercepted a series of missiles," the statement continued. Officials reported debris fell on a neighborhood in the capital, resulting in some property damage and the death of one civilian. The United States Air Force is stationed at the Al Dhafra base, to the south of the Emirati capital, along with the Emirati Air Force.
