🔗 Share this article Former Doctor Accused of Sexual Assault Allegations Involving Thirty-Eight Individuals in His Care Legal authorities have announced that a former doctor now faces charges for carrying out sexual assaults involving 38 individuals who were patients. The Serious Allegations Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham has been charged with dozens of sexual offences – comprising acts against children younger than 13 – between 2017 to 2021. A deputy chief prosecutor stated, “Legal teams have worked at length to assist a thorough and intricate investigation, carefully reviewing the available evidence to determine that there is a strong case to proceed to trial and that it is in the interest of justice.” The Police Inquiry These allegations follow what police called a “complex investigation” into reported sexual offences at medical facilities: the Royal Stoke university hospital and a facility in Dudley. The defendant is scheduled to appear at the local magistrates' court on January 20th. List of Charges Prosecutors said the 45 charges comprise: Fifteen counts of sexual assault. 17 counts of penetrative assault. Nine counts of sexual assault of a child under 13. 3 counts of penetrative assault on a child under thirteen. 1 count of attempted penetrative assault. Authorities have asked individuals with information to contact the investigating team.
